Promotion of Access to Information Act (Act 2 of 2000)
1. Introduction
This Manual is prepared in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act No. 2 of 2000 ("PAIA") and incorporates provisions from the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
Fabric IT Solutions ("Fabric") is committed to fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and governance by enabling access to records where justified under South African legislation.

3. Guide on how to use PAIA

4. Records Available in Accordance with Other Legislation
Where applicable, Fabric maintains records in accordance with the following statutory legislation:
- Companies Act 71 of 2008
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997
- Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act 130 of 1993
- Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002
- Income Tax Act 58 of 1962
- Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
- Value Added Tax Act 89 of 1991
5. Subjects and Categories of Records Held
Fabric holds records on the following subjects for administration, operational, and technical service delivery purposes:

Financial statements, tax assessments, banking details, invoices, and accounting ledgers.

Personnel Records
Employment contracts, internal policies, training records, payroll details.
6. Request Procedure & Fees
To request access to records held by Fabric, a requester must complete the prescribed Form 2 available on the Information Regulator's website and submit it to our Information Officer via email at hello@fbrc.co.za.
Requesters must provide sufficient detail to enable the Information Officer to identify the record and the requester, and state the right they seek to exercise. Prescribed fees may apply prior to processing.
